We do not check the contents of external links. They are subject to the liability of the respective service provider.

Google Analytics
Our website also uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics likewise uses cookies, text files which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. Information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, in case of the activation of the IP anonymity on this website, your IP address is first shortened by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other treaty states of the Treaty on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional circumstances is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to perform additional services connected to the website use and Internet use for the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not amalgamated with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by corresponding settings of your browser software; however, we point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to the full extent. In addition, you can prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de ).

You can prevent collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link: Prevent Google Analytics
An opt-out cookie is set here, which prevents the future collection of your data on visits to this website. For further information on conditions of use and data protection, please see http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/ . We draw your attention to the fact that on this website Google Analytics has been augmented by the code “anonymizeIp” in order to guarantee anonymous collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

Use of Google Maps
For its branch finder, Berlin Hyp uses the maps service Google Maps API by Google Inc. to show locations on an interactive map. This means that information on the use of the Berlin Hyp website, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google servers in the USA and stored there.
Although Google undertakes in its own data protection declaration not to pass on any information to third parties, it does make exceptions to this. The data collected in this way can possibly be transmitted to third parties if this is prescribed by law in the USA or if third parties process the data on Google’s instruction. The data protection declaration by Google Inc. is available at: http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
You have the possibility of turning off the maps service and preventing the transmission of data to Google. To do so, you must deactivate Java Script in your browser. In this case, you can no longer use the branch finder.

Security and the Right to Information
We employ technical and organisational security measures in order to protect the data provided by you from chance or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. Our security measures are constantly improved in accordance with technological developments.
